Hiking holidays in Bad Tölz in the Tölzer Land region

Storm the summits surrounding the Posthotel Kolberbräu

Hiking is the desire of so many guests.  Bavaria and hiking simply belong together. Whether it's leisurely walks in the countryside, interesting themed hikes or challenging mountain and via ferrata tours: our 3-star hotel in Bad Tölz is the ideal starting point for individual hikes. In cooperation with the tourist information office, we also offer guided tours in different levels of difficulty and altitudes – just ask us, how would you like us to advise you!

To the top: Mountain cableways in the region

A hiking paradise at lofty heights: Surrounding the Posthotel Kolberbräu, a total of 3 mountain cableways make your ascent easier. In Lenggries, the Brauneck cable car takes you up to an altitude of over 1,500 meters in modern cabins. At Walchensee, the Herzogstandbahn takes you up to 1,600 meters. And with the two-seater chairlift you float up to the Blomberg (1,248 meters). Once you reach the top, a breathtaking mountain panorama awaits you with restaurants and alpine pastures. And if you prefer to explore our wonderful alpine country on two wheels instead of hiking, you'll find what you're looking for here:

Eventful: Hiking trails for big and small

Fresh air, lots of exercise, new discoveries. The popular and interesting nature and adventure trails are perfect for this. Individual stations provide variety for the hiker, provide additional interesting information and offer fun for the whole family: from tickly barefoot trails to exuberant water battles or observing wild animals. Our top adventure trails include the Panorama Nature Trail at the Herzogstand, the Bird Trail in Kochel am See and the Herb Experience Park in Bad Heilbrunn. Hiking in Bavaria, and especially in the Tölzer Land, really has a lot to offer! And if the weather doesn't quite play along, we have exciting alternatives for young and old in stock:
