Cycling and mountain biking around Bad Tölz in the Tölzer Land region

All around the Posthotel Kolberbräu on two wheels

Whether varied cycle paths along the Isar, extensive racing bike routes through lush green or hilly mountain bike tours over hill and dale: our 3-star hotel in Bad Tölz is ideal for active holidaymakers who like to travel on two wheels. In cooperation with the tourist information office, the Kolberbräu also offers individually guided bike tours. Or you can alternatively let off steam – either on wheels or rollers– in the nearby skater park.

Top Tips: Bike tours for young and old

For an active biking holiday for the whole family we recommend our 5 lovingly arranged bike tours:

  • Bad Tölz, around the Kirchseemoor: Easy tour, approx. 2 hours. Also suitable for trailers and refreshment stops along the way.
  • Benediktbeuern, Moosrundweg: Very easy tour, approx 1.5 hours. Also suitable for trailers. A stop for refreshment is possible at the start and finish.
  • Bad Heilbrunn, round trip via Lake Karpfsee: Nantesbuch – Linden – Ramsau. Easy tour, approx. 2 hours. Also suitable for trailers and refreshment stops along the way.
  • Schlehdorf, Eichsee circuit: Easy tour, approx. 2 hours. Bathing possibility at the Eichsee available. Also suitable for trailers and refreshment stops along the way.
  • Lenggries: Fall – Forsthaus Aquila. Easy to medium tour, approx. 2.5 hours. Also suitable for trailers and refreshment stops along the way.

We have compiled further tour tips – also for mountain bikers or racing cyclists – here:

Your bike as a guest in the Hotel Kolberbräu

Of course, we also offer the appropriate comfort for bikes you bring with you: You can park your own bike comfortably in our locked bike garage. This allows you to cycle directly from our Posthotel in Bad Tölz in a relaxed manner. We would also be happy to serve you a delicious athlete's breakfast before your tour.

Or you can use our traditional restaurant – or in summer the beautiful Kolberbräu beer garden directly in front of the house – for a well-deserved break for cyclists.
